There’s been a noticeable void in the live local performance scene due to a certain virus which shall not be uttered this day. Thankfully, that will be changing, as HOMETOWN HEROES comes to the rescue this September 6th. With the rise of online comedy shows, HH is taking this opportunity to give local comedy scenes a national stage. The first Sunday of each month, HH will give a platform to performers from a different U.S. City. The show will work with comedians from and currently a part of those scenes to build a lineup showcasing that local talent we desperately miss. This month, producer Mary Jane French (Femmes the Rules) hosts a line-up of some of her favorite comedians from her hometown of Richmond, Virginia.
