Ian’s creation was written and recorded entirely during quarantine with tracks built at home, with vocals, and mixing done within the confines of the studio with producer Kyle Joseph. Without the luxury of audience feedback, the artist was forced to rely on the power of themes, including hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance. According to Lockwood, “I’ve come to realize that it’s one of the most human behaviors. I’ve found a lot of joy and comedy gold in blatant hypocrisy.” Guess what? So you will too!
