This Sunday, May 22nd, MODEL MAJORITY will be bringing NY their 3rd annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month comedy show in-person at The PIT Loft. The “#1 AAPI sketch comedy team” will bring you an evening of America history Asian American Pacific Islander history-themed comedy sketches. That’s not all, there will also be stand-up and audience prizes, plus the writers room will be virtual with participants from LA, Austin, Portland and NYC. Yay, tech! The team was created by Veronica Dang in 2018 to increase Asian representation in comedy and has been going strong ever since, fighting stereotypes with humor. MM sketch team members have been seen on TV/Film, including SNL, Comedy Central, Tracy Morgan’s The Last OG, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Blue Bloods, Step Up 3, Blacklist, Ray Donovan, New Amsterdam, Law & Order: SVU and in Broadway shows, national commercials, top comedy clubs and festivals. This should be one heck of an entertaining and informative show!
