Tasty News: ‘FOGO: Fear of Going Outside’ Nature Podcast with IVY LE Returns to Spotify 2.13 with Season Two

FOGO, the actual, honest to goodness outdoors podcast show with the most reluctant host ever, returns this Monday, February 13! FOGO, of course, stands for Fear of Going Outside, something Austin-based comic IVY LE (co-producer of Austin Sketch Fest) has bravely attempted to conquer. The generally indoor person, whose father had a bounty on his head by a communist regime and whose Asian mom has severe allergies, has good reason to be a bit trepidatious of braving the outdoors. However, we already know that in season ONE of FOGO Ivy conquered camping, so this times she’s out to top that. In season TWO, Ivy will be getting down and dirty as she goes HUNTING. Quite a leap there, wouldn’t you say? This time Ivy is determined to gain outdoorswoman status, even if she dies trying.

Bona fide hunter Ivy Le, host of FOGO

In the NEW season, expect Ivy to be begging and bribing prospective hunting mentors like Don Nguyen (Naked & Afraid) to take her hunting, taking apart a hog with chef-hunter Jesse Griffiths, tracking animals with a 14 year-old Girl Scout, and, of course, running into just about every obstacle there is to becoming a first-time hunter! No small feat! Perhaps, truffle hunting would have been a tad easier. There’s not going back now! Listen to the trailer below, to get a taste of the grand adventure that awaits:

Happy trails!
